In this hands-on workshop and working on a simple project\, you will discover the intricate hand-stitching method and attention to detail that has set David’s work apart and learn how to achieve the same level of precision and beauty in your own creations.  Topics of the day include working with freezer paper templates\, perfecting pre-turned edges\, solving the dreaded “shadowing” effect of light fabrics (a game-changer with Jo Thomas)\, choosing the proper needle and thread for your project\, plus much more. \nKit includes all pre-washed fabrics\, including background custom print fabric\, full-color instructions\, freezer paper templates\, tracing paper for placement guide\, needle and thread. \nStudent Supplies Needed: \n\nPaper scissors and fabric scissors\nsmall travel iron and ironing surface\nApplique pins\nPencil or mechanical pencil\nFinger stiletto – (trolley needle\, optional\, but very useful)\nextension cord
