Quilt Show Trip

Want to go on an overnight quilt show trip?  This trip is being planned for Sept. 13–14, 2024.  You will join a group of NSQG members on a bus trip that includes entry to the AQS show, visiting fabric shops along the way, overnight accommodations and some meals.

When: Friday – Saturday, 9/13 – 9/14, 2024

Itinerary:

• • Day 1 – Friday, 9/13
    • Bus Charter
      • Pick up point #1 – Park & Ride lot, Rte 84, Exit 19 @ Rte 312, 5:45am departing at 6:15 AM SHARP
      • Pick up point #2 – Kisco/Bedford, Rte 684 @ 172 Park & Ride, 6:30am departing at 7:00 AM SHARP
    • Stop at 3 quilt shops in PA
      • Weavers Dry Goods
      • Burkholders Fabrics
      • The Old Country Store (with shopping nearby @ Kitchen Kettle Village)
    • Meals – Lunch and Smorgasbord Dinner provided.
    • Overnight at Hilton Garden Inn
  • Day 2 – Saturday, 9/14
    • Breakfast @ Hotel (included)
    • AQS QuiltWeek @ Spooky Nook Sports Conference Center
    • Lunch @ quilt show (on your own)
    • Head back @4:15pm with 45 min rest stop on the way (snacks/food on your own)
    • Arrive back ~8-9pm with drop offs at same pick up points

Registration and Payment (Trip payment is non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled):

Fill out the Registration form and give to me at guild meetings, email, or mail (address in guild directory).

Check Payment: payable to Northern Star Quilters Guild, give to me at a guild meetings.

• Double Occ $320 per person ($25 surcharge for nonmembers) – indicate your roommate, you both must register and pay separately
• Single Occ supplement $100 additional
• Includes bus fare, 1 night’s lodging, 3 meals, quilt show admission and snacks/games with prizes on bus
• Participants are required to pay in full at time of registration, payment is non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled by the guild.
• Non-members may register after April 20, 2024.
• Registration will close for all August 1 or when all slots are filled.
