  • WINNERS CHOICE QUILT DISPLAY & RAFFLE (October 15 meeting)
    Comfort Quilters display the results of this year’s summer quilting project and raffle off one or more of the quilts, you get to choose. Coordinated by Comfort Quilters.
  • SATURDAY SIT & SEW (October 18)
    Hang out and sew with fellow guild members.Bring your sewing machine and project supplies (ironing and cutting stations provided).  The full session costs $5 (9am-5pm, bring your own lunch) with half-day options for $3 (9-1pm or 1-5pm).  Preregistration is required, cash payment will be collected at the door.   • BATIK BLOWOUT (November 19 meeting)
    Thanks to a huge donation of batiks to Comfort Quilts, we have a batik bonanza in 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2 yd+ cuts at $4 per yard.
    Over a thousand yards of batiks at amazing prices so come early with your $$$ and a shopping bag.  Coordinator is Karen Carlson, comfortquilts@northernstarquilters.com
  • HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE (December 10 meeting)
    Back by popular demand is our member-to-member holiday boutique.  Items handmade by members may be sold at this event.  There will be a charge of $10 per half table.  If you are interested in vending at the Holiday Boutique, please email me with the type of item that you wish to sell.  Coordinator is Rona Spar, ronaquilter@gmail.com
  • SUPER SATURDAY (January  31)
    Excitement is growing for this year’s Super Saturday, which is scheduled for January 31st, 8:30 – 3:30 with a snow date of February 7th.   All classes will be announced at the October meeting where you can signup there or online.  The cost including lunch is $30.   Coordinator is Kathy Tuttle, kathytuttle9@gmail.com.
  • QUILTING RETREATS (November&March)
    The Fall Retreat is full, but you can put your name on a waiting list.  The Spring Retreat will take place March 20-22 at the Center at Mariandale.  Coordinator is Jody Sullivan, jodysull@optonline.net.
  • RED, WHITE and BLUE CHALLENGE (March/April)
    This year’s challenge is based on our country’s 250th anniversary.  Review parameters on the website due date is the March meeting, voting display is April.   Coordinator is Nancy Mirman, nmirman@optonline.net.
  • UGLY FABRIC AUCTION (May 20 meeting)
    Bring your ‘Ugly Fabrics’ to Guild and Comfort Quilts meetings, September thru April.  Coordinator  is Liz Titus, bt97mail@gmail.com.
  • SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIGs)
    • Improv I – meeting on Zoom and in person (currently full).
    • Improv II – meeting the last Thursday of the month at 10 AM on Zoom and in person, currently room for more members.  Contact Rita Romeu, ritabell255@gmail.com.
