Welcome Back! I know it’s hard to believe that the Summer is over, but I am confident that I will enjoy the warm beautiful days of Autumn just as much! Our September meeting will be full of wonderful activities and plans that are too numerous to mention here but I do want to highlight a few:
-Show and tell: Last season we skipped this important activity at our meetings but I am determined not to do so this year. Showing our work to each other is important so I will strive to not cancel this activity, however, it might be prudent to limit the number of quilts you have to show to 2 or 3 so our speaker can start on time.
-Our raffle falls under the same category as show and tell so I will also strive to make sure that this is a monthly activity.
-Quilt Festival: our first Quilt Festival will take place on October 9 and 10 at St Marks Church in Mt Kisco. If you haven’t already entered a quilt, please do so now and also please sign up to volunteer for the items that are still open.
-NSQG World of Quilts Show: We have a quilt show chairperson! Marie Tamaqua of Pinwheels has volunteered to Chair our show so you will be hearing more about that in the coming months.
There are so many more things to tell you about so you will just have to come to the meeting to hear about them. We are looking forward to seeing all of you!
